Hello all, Recently returning to the hobby after a small break for life and work. Living in the Sacramento, CA area. I mostly coin roll hunt through Pennies to see what can be found, but I'll occasionally go through other rolls to keep things interesting. I enjoy collecting the State and Parks Quarters I find in circulation that are in decent shape. Outside of the above I'm a fan of Eisenhower dollars, Franklin half dollars, and a few other odds and ends that catch my eye. Hello. :-) |

One word of caution is that numismatics today isn't what it used to be. With your current interests you should be OK, but keep in mind that the coin market has been flooded with Chinese counterfeits for quite some time. Even modern low end coins are found to be counterfeit at times. Please do your homework before getting burned. |

That's too bad to hear, MisterT. That's the same reason that kept me from really getting into Disney Pin trading; too many counterfeits and I was spending more time dodging them than enjoying the hobby.
Times do be a changing...
