I too have come across one of these remarkable forgeries. The detail is really good. I literally had to actually go put my hands on a real one before. I would trust my gut this was a fake. It was such a good fake that When I went to a reputable coin dealer he made a decent offer on it but tried to low ball me on a set I already new the value of so I sold nothing and honestly I'm glad because it's a crime to sell currency that fake as well as hurts the economic value of money due to flooding of markets with what from this point on will be called counterfeit currency. I'm keeping it as a reminder that you should do real research before transactions should accur. My fear is if they ever get the weight And diameter right people will lose thousands and thousands before anyone even realizes what has happened!

The pics are not clear enough. Hard to see the details. If possible, it would be good to have a clear pic of the old queen. It doesn't look good to me, but need a better image to confirm. If as you said it is very difficult to find it's fake just by visual inspection, then this is a real problem.

Though the blurry images make it difficult/impossible to see many of the details that would help distinguish a genuine coin from a counterfeit example, the shape of the eyes is not quite right and points to the coin being a fake.

As I'm not familiar with these coins, I looked it up on Numista. Here are the images posted there.

Yeah, visually, I can't tell it is counterfeit.
