This coin was in a large lot of older international coins which I acquired. I've tentatively identified it as a 1 Rupee - Shah Alam II. Weight = 12.38 g; diameter ~ 28.7 mm.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you're correct. The issuing authority is British India, Bengal Presidency, in the name of Shah Alam II.

Thank you, Seeker55! I bought the lot for a couple of bronze 100 Mon and a silver Bu from Japan, and this one was hidden under the stack in the auction pic. Quite a few more for me to dig through.
