I need to find a comment on a certain thread with over 28,000 replies, 1900 pages and 1 million views and I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking for it  |

I could have used that function a few times. Oz is probably still trying to prove West Coast Eagles is my team. :)

Click on the 'Printer Friendly' link (Far right just above the Quick Reply box or above top of topic).
This will open the entire topic in one tab. Beware! Larger topics will take a while to load. Be patient, it will load.
Once open, you can then use the search function of your browser (usually CTRL-F) to find what you seek. Note the date/time of the reply so you can use that figure out what page of the topic is on.
It is not pretty, but works for me.

@jbuck, it works, but I imagine it uses a lot of resources. Perhaps bobby will come up with an easier, more efficient solution.

I promise it's on my list. Life gets in the way sometimes. I've taken a few grandkids off my daughter's hands this week so hopefully next week.

Why not just type as many relevant key words from the post that you can remember into the search function?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
