The upside down Lincoln memorial from tails was imprinted into the face die. From that point forward, the obverse (heads) die was striking pennies with that jail bar pattern. A quick search of ebay turned up similar examples in the $15-25 range, but that's what people are asking. It's a neat coin, I'd probably just keep it myself. Report this Post to the Staff
