This is a coin I'm planning to sell once I get a better replacement, so I thought I'd experiment a bit with acetone and Verdi-Care. Not a coin with big value, so a good candidate for experimentation. I did not take before pictures (sorry), but I get a sense that the coin shows better - cleaner and a bit more vibrant. Slightly better than good, but not by much.

Coinfrog,
Not knowing it was conserved, would you have given it a details grade?

For a coin of this quality of a fairly common date, details has little meaning to me. Of course I'd rather have an unmolested coin, but a coin like this has zero reason to go through a TPG where that designation would matter. Just my opinion. That said, I'm curious as to the answer to your question, John1.

i would assign a VG details (ED or maybe cleaned) to this coin. what you did was more preservation than anything here.
