@kim, if you are asking about the letters merging into the rim on the reverse, I suspect that is a combination of circulation wear and having been struck with a tired die.

Unable to fully evaluate since your photos are distorted by being overmagnified and much larger than the 800x800 pixels the board recommends. Please use a size of 800x800 or so because that tends to make a sharper image, and works with more equipment which allows more members to participate.
