Hi, m8s!
Some time ago I got this coin. But I am not sure that it is a real Byzantine coin.
Can somebody identify it, please?

Copper (bronze?)
Max diameter 28 mm
Weight 13.90 g

I think it is a real type.
For example, this follis of Leo IV and COnstantine VI follis, SB1587 is very close: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=10889786

Maybe someone else will find an exact match.

Image for a similar type SB 1587 Leo V1 and Constantine V1 on Wildwinds.

Although the type is similar, the style is quite different.
Cutting styles can vary from mint to mint, but
I have failed to find a similar die cutting style to the OP's coin, that is of the same type.

- the OP coin is in completely different style. Unfortunately, it means most likely we're looking at a modern fake.

Yes a reproduction. The beading and low relief give it away.
