I am trying to figure out which coins I am going to send to PCGS or NGCC and I hoping someone could give me some advice on grading. What grade (ballpark) would you give these two coins? 1884-O 1880-S     |

first these photos are not the best to assess from
the 84(O) obv color looks questionable even if authentic the coin would need to grade MS65 to warrant spending the $ to grade it. at best the coin looks MS63 maybe 64 but I dont think it would grade straight
the 80(S) obv color also looks questionable. again the coin would need to grade 65 to warrant grading. the reverse photo is too small to determine grade. maybe 64

Both look to be artificial toning to me, neither are worth sending in to be graded.

Definitely not worth grading, both look like "details" coins.  to the CCF! |

Both AU details, questionable color, not worth submitting.

When you guys are saying "questionable coloring" - does that mean someone "accelerated/artificially colored the coin?

I am at UNC Details questionable toning on both coins. Quote:

Did you get these in a PCI holder? Look like coins from an auction house in Florida.

They have a surprisingly high number of "toned" coins - Morgans, ASEs, etc. Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I bought these at a garage sale,
Bought around 400-ish coins. It was an older gentleman that passed away.

Neither of these are worth sending in.
They're both artificially toned as well.
