I've decided to focus my coin collecting to one Canadian and one U.S. type set. I'm just wondering if pages can be added to the Dansco folder for new coins, such as the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Coin.. Then again, this is not a circulation dollar, so I should I worry about it?

I would not worry about it. Just collect what is in the 7070 now; that alone will keep you occupied for a few years!

The 7070 add pages such as the gold type and some modern commem's all end at the end of the 20th century. I expect that at some point Dansco will design and sell a U.S. type set album that includes the 21st century and fewer 19th century types. I would not expect the UHR Double Eagle to be in that set because of the page thickness required to avoid possible damage to the coin. afernbaugh

The 7070 album is a 19th and 20th century album so in all reality it should end with a 1999 coin (even though my State Quarter is a 2001 because its my state) so there would be no reason to keep adding pages as time goes on EditHmm, I just looked through my 7070 album and well it shot this comment out of the water since it has the Sacagawea dollar in there which didn't start until 2000. But still I wouldn't worry about adding more pages (unless you don't have the gold page and want it) and just fill the holes thats already in there, you will find you have spent allot more time and money on just these holes than you ever thought you would on your whole collection

According to the Tradewinds website Dansco page, Dansco is redesigning the 7070 to be a two volume set coming out this summer. I have been unable to find out what it will include.

Bryan1315 Maybe dansco didn't think the 21st century started until 2001 so thats why it has the Sacagawea

Officially, the 20th century and second millenium DID end on Dec. 31, 2000.

I agree with everyone that has stated correctly that the new millennium, and therefore the 21st century, did indeed begin on 1 January 2001. There was no year zero, which throws the whole mess off! As for the new Dansco two volume type set, I do hope they issue those as the 7071 and the 7072. Leave the 7070 as the single volume 19th and 20th century type set.
