Considering making an offer on this coin. It is in a PCGS holder, what do you all think?

I agree, a strong AU-53 with a good chance of AU-55.

I'm at XF45 on this one, I think it just misses AU. Could see PCGS saying AU50 though.

AU-50. there may be some light field scratches hiding under the toning.
For some, the inconsistent tone would be a bit off-putting.
For others, shipping fees and ebay, if applicable, would be taken into account, when making an offer.

I am at 45 as well. There appears to be some scratching under the toning on both obv and rev, and the rev shows wear on the upper portion of the wings. It is a nice specimen for this series which is "undercollected" IMHO.

throw away the TV, thats worthless for grading.

first thought was AU50. I think the coin had an old cleaning. the halos around the stars are substantial. I'm betting it graded straight

My first thought was also AU-50. XF-45 or AU-53 would not surprise me either.
