Hello, I've had this note for nearly 40 years and have recently re-discovered it. I remember getting it in change back in the '80's. This is what is known as an 'ink smear' correct? I have read on this form that they really aren't that rare, especially from the '80's. In well-circulated condition, does this note have value, or is it more of a curiosity?

Since it's a 1988 note, I guess I've only had it for around 35 years, not 40

Nice error note. Looks like a solvent smear to me.
