Utah was much better than California....
1 day 301 miles of road between Torrey and Monticello.
Not a bad haul considering we just stopped at four parks
Tomorrow Colorado.

Hope you are keeping a journal. Somewhere in there, I can imagine a book. The people you've met, the sights you've seen, woven around the thread of detecting. One of my favorite books, "Blue Highway" by William Least Heat Moon was such a book, of course without the subject of metal detecting.
