I was given this coin 20 years ago by my great aunt who had it in a tin in her lounge. I believe shefound it in her garden.

Im having trouble identifying its age and value. Id like to know as I've woered about it for a long time

,It is a Roman coin of the emperor Antoninus Pius 138-161 AD, reverse is the emperor standing left holding a branch and spear inscription COS IIII. Nice find in a garden dig.

i might put it on ebay as its not really my thing. what would be a reasonable buy it now price for it?

It's hard to say, condition wise it's only very good most of the inscriptions are worn off and the coin looks pitted. You might be better off trading it to someone that likes Roman coins. I'd say hold on to it for awhile. BTW this emperor was one of the few good ones.
