Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC No Longer?

I do like to collect them, I just do not like spending them! oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 03/23/2009 4:04 pm It would seem appropriate to end the cent on a high note, centennial of the Lincoln Cent (nice round number 100), and to do away with it in it's entirety. There has been considerable discussion about rounding items up to the nearest nickle anyway. And the scuttlebutt about doing away with the One Dollar Bill, forcing Americans to deal with the golden dollars and Deuces. I believe that the United States is the last to hold on to the single lowest (one) paper monetary unit. success, Report this Post to the Staff
