This guy attemped to sell this "authentic" Morgan.
EB# [eBayItem]120395559315[/eBayItem]

When it didnt sell, he relisted it $400 less.,,,
for a very short period of time...to avoid being
detected, I'd guess, and most always in the middle of
the night.

I was one of his victims a couple
months ago and have complained steadily,
yet neither ebay nor Paypal has done much,
if anything,to stop him from selling fake
coins to unsuspecting buyers for up to hundreds
of dollars.

From what I've read tho, getting ebay to do
much could be a miracle. My other complaints
about this seller can be found on a "Fake Morgan"
search and THAT subject is still an ongoing issue
I'm dealing with regarding ebay and Paypal.

He has several neg feebacks for fake morgs. If you look at other/most Morgans he sells or has sold, they all look the same.

Not sure what you mean, Davis, "by get it straight." It IS the same coin because he relisted it at a $400 "discount" after not getting an unsuspecting buyer for it at a thousand.

Oh..ok..thanks. Well, my refund may or may not go through, but after seeing other ebayers get ripped off for up to
hundreds of dollars, I just plain want to see him shut down.
Did a quick search on Google about the 1895 proof. Quoting one of them.......

"According to U.S. Mint records, there were 12,000 regular circulation Morgan dollars struck for 1895 and 880 Proof specimens struck. However, only 75 to 80 of the 1895 Morgans have been accounted for, all of them Proofs.
The 1895 Morgan dollar is known as the "King of the Morgan dollars" because it is the rarest and most valuable of the entire Morgan dollar series. PF-68 specimens of this rare coin have sold for upwards of $120,000 at auction."
Enquote.

Amazing to me that this "real" Morgan is allowed to be listed
as such with a ridiculous price and little or no uproar about the junk he sells.
Thanks.
