Download the free brochure, A Handbook to the Self-Guided Tour of the United States Mint (PDF, 3.30MB) as a guide for your tour.

Good video but there is a lot missing. I remember many years ago I took a tour of the Franklin Mint in suburban Philadelphia. They went through the process of coin design and sculpting on like a 12" plaster cast. Then the design went to the reducing lathe where it transferred the design onto a master hub. The master hub was used to create the working dies. Back then they actually rolled out their own sheets for the blanking process. Everything else is pretty much the same as in this video.

In addition to the video and the PDF I linked, the US Mint has also released a virtual tour app which includes both Philadelphia and Denver mints production floors.

For the first time, get an inside look at the U.S. Mint coin production floors. Enter a virtual reproduction of the U.S. Mint Headquarters Coin Store to learn about the Mint's history and coins. Then tour the production floors of the Philadelphia and Denver Mint facilities. Interact with 360-degree video to walk through the spaces and see employees and machines at work. Videos, images, and 3-D models provide an in-depth look at the machines used in coin production.
