Apparently the Matilda $2 & $1 coins are only going to be available thru the till at Woolworths.
No packaging sets released.

And I was hoping that it may have been a silver penny of
Matilda, (1139-48) (daughter of English King Henry 1st.)

Ah well, I still live in hope that such a coin may come my way.... some day.

I was looking in the wrong sub forum.

Patience, ryurazu. Those rolls you've been searching through were probably rolled months ago.

That's unusual ... the norm for Woolies coins in the past has been $2 coins available in change but not the $1 coins. If you wanted these then you had to buy the packaged set, which also included the $2 coins.

If you want the coins without purchasing anything, use the self serve cash withdrawal for $3. May take a while.

Any chance the RAM will release any 2023 standard circulation coins? Otherwise they should rename themselves "Disney Land" if all they are going to churn out are Mickey Mouse Coins.

Maybe ... but the way I read it was that the $2 coins were being spread out over 3 weeks, as usual, whereas all of the four $1 coins were being released into the tills at the one time on Wednesday 05 July.

I heard someone in NSW has received 2 different $1 coins today.
Our Woolworths only had the 1 type of $1 coin today and said they can only fit a bag at a time in the till so hopefully they will have different ones each day and open the bags randomly.
