Hello all, I am new to coin collecting and have only just started researching some coins I have had for years. This coin has a lot of discoloration to the obverse side of coin. I am unsure if this would be considered an intrinsic alloy mix error or intrinsic metallic inclusion. It basically takes up most of the coin. The reverse of coin does not have the discoloration. I would love to know what this error is called and if there is any value in such a coin. Thank you in advance!!

Does not look like an error to me. It looks like maybe tape is on the coin.

There is no alloy to be mixed here, it is a copper plated zinc core cent. And it looks damaged to me.

to the CCF and tape. Soak it in acetone to see if changes anything.

Yeah, TAPE!, that could be what it is - why I didn't see it last night is beyond me. you can see the straight edges, and the serrated edge from where it was torn off the tape holder.
