I had a coin shop look at this nickel he said I should send it into PCGS. Haven't decided yet to do so, figured I would get some of your opinions first. Since only worth anything in high grades. Thanks for your opinion in advance. Can add more pics if needed.

That is a darn pretty nickel! If it grades MS with Full Steps, that's a chunk of change for 5 cents.

Where did you get it? Looks way too nice for a roll find.

Edit: it's hard to see from the zoomed out picture. Is that surface reflection on the D in United, the E in five, the C in cents? Or is something going on?

Looks nice. Photos a bit glary. Pics shot with diffused lighting--and the coin removed from the flip--might work better. Likely falls in the AU58-MS64 range.

Found it in a box filled with 1922-23 Peace dollars at my parents house. Also it's not in a flip it's sitting on one but not in it. I'll add a few more pics in a few minutes. Brandmeister it's all glare, this thing is shiny, I'll get more pics for ya'all

it has proof qualities but I'm not convinced it is.

looking at the possible grades i'd say either MS64FS or PF64. neither of which has a high enough value to have it graded.
