That looks, to me, like a long scratch on the coin. The location and direction of the scratch do not match the wounded eagle.

It looks like a big scratch, but a clearer closer up photo would help to be sure.

The anomaly on your coin is in a different location than the FS-901 or 'Wounded Eagle' die crack and it runs at a different angle. It's most likely that this is a contact mark or scratch as nfine suggest. It's across the top of the eagle engraving and doesn't give the illusion that it passes through the body.

What mint mark is on the coin? The FS-901 variety is found on coins minted in Philidelphia.

Your eagle is wounded... just not in the valuable way

As mentioned it has to match this and since it doesn't its unfortunately not the error you are looking for. However since it seems to go quite far you can try better photos to see if its a scratch or something like a raised line across the coin most commonly in the form of what looks like a crack on the coin (Die crack).
