2001 -D- cent on the obverse around the top of Lincolns bust and his nose is it doubled or some kind of Machine Doubling I think I have asked about one simular to it but I'm not sure and I hope the pictures are better than the last ones and are coins like this one very common I think its interesting I havent seen one as bad as this so I thought I would get everyones opinion on this one

I believe it is Machine Doubling. I have found many coins with similar doubling or Machine Doubling around the obverse. Even 2022 America Women Quarters.

@pris, even in extreme instances, I don't think that Machine Doubling adds a numismatic premium. With that said, the cost of ownership is low, so save it if you want.

i was going to save it I think its interesting I havent sold any of my coins I have been trying to learn all I can about them and how to spot errors varieties and the difference between them and damaged coins and what's collectible what's not play something to keep in this room and one of my favorites stacks
