In a word, no. 1887 had the 4th highest mintage of all Morgan dollars, behind only the three 1921s and 1889. It's a high AU coin, but appears to have been cleaned. Appreciate it for the treasure you found.
By the way, you never told us the backstory of finding this coin while fishing.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Ok kind of embarrassing. I am a master plumber and don't have much time for fishing so I take my poles with me and if I see blue on my GPS the van goes off road. Well.foind a spot I Graber my poles already rigged up, I hooked my self getting out of the van lost my balance and fell , not gracefully. When I finally got up , was mad hooked my self again kicked the van and lost my shoe ( not tied), I bent over to pick up my shoe and it was right there poking out where I fell and I washed it with water that was the way it looked after the dirt came off.

Nice find - but a rather common Morgan dollar and not worth the cost of third party grading.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

AU details

cool story...you have a better chance hitting the lottery than finding anything in the ground or even circulation that has enough value to justify slabbing. similar looking coins have sold for about $26-30
