panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18663 Posts	Posted 06/27/2023 09:36 am the obv strike is a tad weak for a 67 grade. the ones I have seen are overall sharper. the steps seem to be a problem across the board especially the middle steps even on 67's. even 68's have a few of those spots in the surfaces. not sure this one can make 66 just too much spotting on both sides. BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19949 Posts	Posted 06/30/2023 9:47 pm Water/rinse spotting is big problem for the ultra moderns. It's been my observation that the TPG's will sometimes be quite forgiving of hits if a coin is nearly free of water spots. For the 2009 issues it seemed like they graded purely on the intensity of the spotting. I like this coin as a 66 myself! It looks GREAT in hand! Lincoln Cent Lover!
