2019 P Lowell Earring Error

Started out searching for W's but ended up finding 50 hair die breaks, posted in a different thread, a few with die chips and then I found 4 of these earring errors. 3 are a full "donut" and 1 is half of a donut.

Great find! I believe that this is a circular Die Break. I think this was featured in a Coin World article somewhere.

The ear ring was a symbol of a man crossing the equator worn in only one ear, I believe the left. Washington crossed it in 1751.

I will see if I can find the Coin World article. I read somewhere else that the thought was originally it was a strike through that damaged the die which the produced these. Not sure if that's what happened or not.
