Are there any 2023 circulation coins?
Nothing listed on the RAM website yet.

Gotta wait till the annual report is released before any 2023 figures from RAM. Maybe October? Only 3 months or so .
Going out on a limb here and thinking that NO standard 2023 coins will be put into circulation.
Only Uncirculated sets will have the standard coins.
Prices of these sets have risen dramatically already and the RAM will only let you buy 1 per customer .
Waiting for the new Charles effigy in 2024 before minting new regular coins?
Been wrong before though.

RAM must have minted more 2023 uncirculated sets as the limit per customer has risen to 3 sets ,today.

I think that you'll find those are classified as circulating commemorative coins.

O.K. the RAM has proved me wrong again with the release of the $1 2023 King Charles coin, the only circulating 2023 coin. Also you can get the standard coin design in 'the creatures of the deep ' lunchbox thingy, but they are yet to be circulated it seems.
I would recommend the UNC set over the 'lunch box' as you get the more valuable $1 Coloured Vegemite coin rather the worthless 'creatures of the deep' coin, also the UNC coin set will be in better condition. For an extra $8 the choice is simple.
Some dealers have already upped the price of the UNC set but the RAM has a limit on how many you can buy@$33.

AAhhh this is not right at all, the 'Creatures of the Deep ' lunch box thingy has the Memorial Obverse, therefore very collectable in their own right .
Must engage brain before putting mouth into gear.
