1911 Moroccan Rial. Y# 25. 0.7324 oz ASW. Should weigh 25g. Krause lists it at $55 in XF and $25 in VF. I think that this is probably less than this crown-sized coin would actually get on ebay.

Thanks for your replies.
Only used [in my very amateur way!] to UK type gradings [G-VG-EF-UNC] so have to ask if XF is above VF like VF+ and just below EF?
Struggling with 'ASW' as well!--LOL

With regards to grading it is worth noting that even the same grades (namewise) do not necessarily mean the same actual grade in different countries.

In other words a coin graded VF in the US may only be F in the UK for example. (Not saying this particular example is correct, but I have seen similar differences) Generally it seems UK grading is more strict.

Hi Quicksilver--probably the first thing that I noticed after joining this site was the difference in opinions as to grading between UK & US.
And that is the crux of it really-we all have opinions and nobody is 100% right and nobody is 100% wrong--we all see things differently.
When I sell I always give my opinon as to condition but try to show the coin or whatever as it is,worts and all, with several photos as the camera often lies!
With just a few basic gradings in the UK,sale listings must appear quite bland when viewed by those more used to the American style of grading.
