I can't read Sanskrit, Hindi or any of the other languages written in the Devanagari alphabet, but I can tell you this is a coin from the Indian state of Gwalior - the cobra, spear and trident logo appears on many of their more modern coins. The coin is a 1/4 anna dated 1958 according to the Vikramasamvat calendar, which equates to 1901 AD. Listed in Krause as KM# 169.

I says "This coin is cursed. If you want to lift the curse from yourself you must sent it to the first yank to post in this thread" Yep that is what it says alright.

No really good luck deciphering it though. I am curious myself.

The second image is the obverse. The translation of the Hindi legend is:

Obverse: King's name and title
(Starting at 9 O'Clock) "Sri Madhaw Rao Ma Sinde"
(Starting at 8 O'Clock) "Aali Ja Bahadur"

Reverse: Gwalior
Pav Anna (1/4 Anna)
Samvat
1956 (1899 AD)
