Something seemed off about this quarter just enough that I pulled it aside to take a look. It's not like the error ones, but the inside ring of the o in dollar has a line stamped but raised metal at the center. The edge on that part of the quarter is narrow and pronounced while on the opposite side it's wider and kind of flatter. Figured I might as well see if anyone knew what the deal with it might be.

To CCF! A slight Misaligned Die, on the reverse. As for your other question, the picture isn't clear enough to tell.

can't see anything but the circle you drew in those areas. How about some closeups of what you are seeing?

@axi, first welcome to CCF. Second, while that might be a MAD as mentioned above, the unevenness in rim width might also be from damage (flattening). .

Well, look at that, I missed the off centered strike.
So, I'll amend my response here:

Not sure - it can be one of 2 strike errors here
a MAD (Mis-Aligned Die) or an off center strike - we will need to see the reverse to tell for sure.
