Pics aren't the best, but the coin already seems to be suffering from environmental damage (corrosion).

Agree, there's a good amount of post-strike damage with this one. Grade falls below AU55. Better pics--full, large and sharp--would help narrow down the grade.

This is a Steel cent with a zinc electro plate coating to keep the steel from rusting. (kinda like a Galvanized nail or bolt).

But the images are a bit dark to see any details.
