1944 D Penny Anomaly - Coin Community Forum

Pdwtn New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 07/06/2023 11:36 am I've got a 1944 d penny that seems to have a partial implant of another pennys reverse on its obverse. In the pics you'll notice the darker areas, which are raised, attached to the pennys obverse. From what I can make out, it looks like this is a partial Lincoln memorial and near the bottom I can make out an A as in America.
