If its one thing I love GLB its Libertards and Koo-Koo's.
Like me you are in the advanced stages of "Silveritus". I had all mine out last night looking at them for hours. I even broke out all the junk silver because I love that stuff too. It makes me feel like Bilbo Baggins in the dragons Lair.

I collect pure silver coins from six countries, Silverskunk. The Libertad and Kookaburra are two of my favorites. My collection kind of got away from me so I can't take them out and look at them. I can look at all the boxes though.

Excellent Kookaburra, GLB! Beautiful 500 Lire, otto - I may have to look for one of those! Quote: My collection kind of got away from me I know the feeling well, GLB!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thank you, Hondo. Quote: I know the feeling well, GLB! I should have known it would happen since it has happened with other things I've collected over the years.

Beauty Otto. Lovely coin.
GLB Offhand I guess I buy from Mexico, Britain, America, Canada, Ive been meaning to buy some silver Krugies, Ive been meaning to buy some Koo-Koos. I love the stuff from the Germania mint.
Ive assembled a fair amount of German, Japanese, and Italian silver from the late 19'th and first half of the 20'th century as Ive assembled my Historical display, which has been pretty cool remembering in coinage and currency the evolution of Historical events that led to such devastation and suffering.
Doing so however Ive been Lax is my stacking of silver bullion. Which I want to concentrate on for the rest of the summer. Its easy for me to get lost in numismatic collecting however.

I buy the Silver Eagle and Silver Proof Set from America, the Libertad from Mexico, the Britannia from Great Britain and the Krugerrand from South Africa. I buy quite a few coins from Canada and Australia. Both countries produce some fine silver coins.
