Got this from the bank, is this a 1940 reverse and is it in decent shape for the year.

Greetings, the 1940 Reverse I believe has to do with the 1938 Jeff. An Installation Error as well the 1939 may.
So if this is the wear on the reverse may make it hard to tell
. Lets see what other folks say and I will look when I get a chance.

the sharp vertical line at the right side step edge tells me it's the Reverse of 1940
