Nice find! Definitely a DDO and not Machine Doubling. I believe you have DDO-002. If you can, try to find the die markers.
Errers and Varietys.

Thank you so much! I was looking too long and was seeing things that weren't there already.

It is DDO-002, as that is the only one with a clockwise spread. A very nice DDO that should have been included in the CherryPickers' Guide.

Now, personally, would you grade it?

Awesome find! I've never found any of the 72-D DDOs before, only several of the Philly ones. Never understood how these aren't listed in the CPG like the Philly ones are
Edit: to answer your question about grade, grading is not my strong suit, but I'm gonna say XF Brown (possibly red/brown if they're generous).

Grading a circulated minor doubled die is generally a money-loser, but as it is your find you may want to spend the money just to have it slabbed for yourself. Probably cost about $50 for ANACS to slab it including all the fees and mailing costs, with the coin worth about $20 once in the slab.

Beautiful coins!! Thanks for sharing.
I couldn't find any values on PCGS website nor Greysheet. Any suggestions where to look for values?
Thinking of slabbing this one for my daughter and a 1971 DDO-002 I found.

PCGS only attributes cherry pickers guide-listed varieties (which is why Tropicalbats said to use ANACS if you do grade it). I don't recommend grading, personally, since it will still look very nice in a 2x2 or airtight capsule, and will cost you virtually nothing to store like that. That said, if it's something you really want to do, make sure you submit it to ANACS who will actually designate it as a variety.
