Pardon the not so great photo of the coin. I'm pretty sure this is a rather large lamination error. If so anyone have any idea about what the value would be? Any input greatly appreciated! #9786;#65039;

Very nice example. There are some collectors out there who seek coins with dramatic lamination issues. A good place to research is 'sold/completed' information on eBay--what they actually sell for, not asking price. It appears your coin has been cleaned at some point in the past--not a good thing. Having said all that, a crazed lamination issue collector might pay 50 cents to a couple dollars for your particular piece.

Wow that is an amazing example I don't really buy coins but I could see someone paying a nice chunk for that
