First coin in better condition, but reverse staining not good. This is at a dealer, so I assume if it could have been cleaned up in some fashion it would have been. Second coin not quite as good and cleaned. Both at almost the same price point. This is a coin I'm looking for so your comments are welcome. Seller's small pictures - two different sellers. I'm on a budget but looking at a lot of these coins. Thanks

Both have been cleaned at some point. I prefer the first example just based on detail but buy what you like as that is what the hobby is about.

I wouldn't buy either of them. This is not a difficult coin to find in nice condition.

The first one appears to have one or two deeper scratches across the reverse shield.

If these were the absolutely last 2 on the planet, and I had to choose one over the other - I would choose the first one, but it had better come with a cast, because you would have to break my arm to make the choice.

I like the one from yesterday with the die crack on the obverse better than these two, of course all depends on price.
