I've a few more to post-as time permits!
As stated in a previous post,I've got bills to pay and these, whilst I've enjoyed having them, have to go as they do not hold the same interest for me as my UK coins do.[and I'd like to keep them!]
I'll soon be up to the 50 post mark so I'll be able to advetise my ebay items on here then--I think!
What other forum avenues come into play for 50+ posters?

This coin, though very Greek in style, is actually Roman, with a very Roman theme - Castor and Pollux, the heavenly twins of Gemini. It dates from the Republic period, circa 109 BC. If the obverse were slightly better centred, we'd be able to see the asterisk-shaped denomination mark for a denarius. This example on CoinArchives even comes with poetry!

Besides the buy-sell-trade forums, you can apply to have a picture gallery like these where you can upload larger images, you can sign up for the open discussion forum on non-coin topics, and your "title" changes from "new member" to "valued member". I think that's it.

Sap--another post towards the 50!

Your link gives --'about:blank'

Nice coin at CoinArchives--after looking at that one and looking at mine again I can just see the tail of the denomination mark.

Will put a couple more Roman types up tomorrow.
