Hi, I need help, I purchase this Product "Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier" and I want to know, how to charge this device. Because I already connect a given USB Cable wire to this device. but there is not any sign of charging shows on this device.

So I try this, I keep on leave it ON this Machine, after this I again reconnect USB Cable then I saw Green Light is blinking for a minute, there after is not blinking at all. Then I disconnect USB Cable wire and reconnect again, after this any number of times disconnect 7 reconnect, it will never blink green light nest to power button at all, so I want to know "How to charge this Machine"...Thanks

When I typed "Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier" into my browser a long list of manuals and documents was returned. I took a quick look in the operators guide and it says the device is charged with the USB cable and that battery life is about 15 hours.

@test, first welcome to CCF. Second, I have a Sigma Metalytics as well. It sounds like you've got it charged already. When you press the power button, does the green LED next to it come on and the screen show

Quote:
Precious Metal Verifier 1.18
(or more likely, some higher rev number)

for just a few seconds before disappearing and this shows up:

Remove Sample Push RUN/CAL -> Start

If so, then you are good to go and don't need that USB cable attached at all. I would believe that you get 15 hours out of a charge--I only use for a few minutes at a time and I seem to go years in between charges.

Thanks for the replies for all members.

I bought this Machine just 2 day ago. And on screen it is showing "Precious Metal Verifier 2.01" and then shows "Remove Sample Push RUN/CAL -> Start", Model: SM1501S2 and this year 2023 Machine.

As you guys saying, it is already charge for 15 hours, so I have to check once all Battry lost.

So do you know "How to discharge this Battery completely" to see weather it is Charging with USB Cable or not.

Yes I agree you are fully charged. I use it until it won't turn on and then I recharge it. I'm not sure that there is a "low battery" indicator. I leave it plugged in over night to charge and then just put it all away in the morning—again not sure that there is an indicator that it is fully charged.
