2015 Jefferson D Nickel Error - Coin Community Forum

I have only seen one other online but not as cool as this one. Front side is shaven down around the lip and the reverse is almost completely gone except for the center that is almost a perfect circle. Report this Post to the Staff

The marks on your coin couldn't have happened during the minting process. While it's impossible to tell what happened or why, it looks like it was scratched up and flattened intentionally.
