Were the majority of these quarters made with a slight grease filled error?

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I just went through over 100 of the P mm and over 3/4 of them had evidence of probable grease strike through on the I of In and T in Trust. None were completely obscured.

The 3 in 2023 was also weakly struck.

Slight Struck Through Grease. Too minor to add any value.

It appears that some 2023 p and d both have this issue on the I+T in in god we trust and here the 3 and D of the 2023D date.

If its common like that it really shouldnt have any added value but you can always check ebay sold listings (not just listed which may never sell at the price shown) to see if something is currently selling or not. Typically when its entirely missing a digit it may have some minor value (some like the 2005p kansas in god we rust are popular), and when its missing much more of the coin design it can have demand from serious collectors also.

It not Grease. This come from one of the Working Hub, as was the 2005 case. Probably we will see many coins as this because it is unknow how many Dies was produce with this Hub.
