to the CCF! This coin is showing LOTS of damage, not any errors. It could be heat/acid damage or what we sometimes call a 'Parking Lot' coin. It's been abused over the years. No value above 25¢ Post Mint Damage - PMDEdit: The edge is showing the nickel/copper/nickel layers of a clad coin. The edges have been smoothed.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Much post-strike damage, including (perhaps) prolonged exposure to a caustic environment. Can't rule out heat damage. The coin did not leave the striking chamber in that condition.

Can you give me a expert reasoning on why my arrows are bent the wrong way without tips?

The deformities of the face on the lower half all seem to be raised above the level of the upper seeming as to have more metal but there is no flexing or warping to shape

Heat causes warping , acid causes pitting , at first glabce it looks like pitting I understand why you said it , would you say there is a 50 50 chance that is not pitting. When something corrodes it will not leave geometric edging along the perimeter of the defect it will be very much more erratic placement of the deterioration where the metal is weekest, no straight lines acid or parking lots. Look at the edge of the pits

The edge of the face pitting , and the area on the eagle side where the eagle caries those 13 arrows underneath his right wing the arrow tips are missing and the bundle is flexing upward instead of downward. Did that leave the mintlike that?

I agree, just a damaged coin. PMD. It's a spender.
Errers and Varietys.

It doesn't matter what happened to this coin. It is not an error. There is no way if you know how coins are minted, you would think there is any type of error here. There is enough damage on the obverse that it pushed the reverse out. Thats why the arrows look bent. Ran over in a parking lot, circulating for 25 years, heat, it's all damage.

How about some close ups of the arrows? Hard to diagnose a coin from across the room. Your images are small and the details we need are just not viewable.
But for now, I'll go on record saying that this coin was exposed to heat and or acid and was eroded.
