Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 07/30/2023 8:44 pm Interesting. I don't think it's a strike through, but possibly a flaw in the clad layer. At first I thought it was the copper core showing through the nickel layer, but now I wonder if a copper fragment was rolled into the sheet when it was processed. The slightly wider area of copper above the ES looks almost like a fragment that the rolling process could have smeared the copper across the surface of the nickel layer. Nice error!
