Circulated 1924 Huguenot-Walloon Half - Grade? (Coin Arrived!)

The Silver Searcher Pillar of the Community United States 1388 Posts	Posted 07/31/2023 10:49 am Hi all, Made another purchase for my circulated commemorative coin set the other day. Got this 1924 Huguenot-Walloon Half for what I think is a pretty good deal, for a coin that I expect will look great when it arrives here. My only concern is the somewhat unusual wear pattern... Compare to my known certified AG03 example: 1924 Huguenot-Walloon Half PCGS AG03 Looking forward to an update when you get the coin in hand. Seller put it in a USPS box, but the tracking never activated and it never arrived. They're going to start the refund process on Monday, and they've been very helpful, but this stinks. My money back will be nice but I really wanted this coin. At least it's not one of those "stoppers" in the circulated commem set, those that are seldom or ever seen. The hunt continues! The Silver Searcher Pillar of the Community United States 1388 Posts	Posted 08/08/2023 2:35 pm Great news! The tracking inexplicably activated this morning... not sure how, but THE COIN HAS ARRIVED! New pics: Thankfully, the coin isn't bent and the wear pattern is fine. The green residue that shows in the pics isn't really visible. Some faint hairlines, but I think it would straight grade.
