Somewhere in Mormon country a woman exchanged 14 Double Eagles for $280. Sounds like "hot" goods and/or a need for a drug fix?

Yup, I guess it was theft. With today's blaring adverts for CASH4GOLD and other rip off dealers, she must've known it was worth more.

Dang! It's even worse than I thought. I just found the note on the kitchen table. She says she sold all of those double eagles on ebay and went to Paris. She expects to return in June before the twins' birthday. That means I'll have to eat my own cooking for two months! This is serious. If any of you Parisians see her, tell her to call, please.
