Peru 1/2 Dinero 1890/1900 Overdate

Here is one more overdate from Peru. Below is a date detail from two lighting angles showing how different details can be seen. One photo never quite shows everything.

The underlying 8 and 9 are pretty obvious, but I'm unsure on the last digit. Judging by the depth of the 0, the die was heavily polished, perhaps to remove the old digit. But, if one closely compares the first 0, notice how the inner loop pinches around the contour of the 9? Since I see a similar trace on the last digit, it could be a 1900/1899.
