Another coin that I would have graded much differently than PCGS ...

Attractive coin, decent strike too. MS64, shot at MS65.

I'll say MS-64+, just can't see 65.

A 65 wouldn't surprise me. Might be a bit too much on the cheek though.

another ulcer for me if I worked at a TPG. the strike is on point for this year. the broken luster on the cheek and possible neck are going to affect the grade but the chatter in those areas may not be enough to downgrade the coin. nice reverse will bump the overall coin as it looks 65. . this one comes down to how they assessed the cheek area. for me I typically cant get it above 63 with broken luster but the amount of chatter has to be considered. maybe 63+ with a slight chance they pushed it to 64

Coinfrog nails it.

If it strikes your fancy, it's on the auction block ending tonight.

i'll have to adjust my grading just a tad. apparently missing luster across the key area of the coin doesn't deduct as much as thought. depending on amount of chatter could be 1/2-1pt. is this correct...who knows. guessing PCGS is a coin-toss in a lot of cases especially when they are borderline
