pristine2 Pillar of the Community United States 1048 Posts	Posted 08/06/2023 8:19 pm Can't really judge originality of surfaces with this pic, but I would suspect a cleaning. The discoloration may just be the angle of the light. But I don't see it as anything less than high XF or AU. Light wear spots. The strike could be stronger, especially on the reverse, but this coin hasn't seen a lot of circulation. I see obverse wear on curl at bust, ear top, brow over eye, bun and beads on hair and top of coronet. None of the stars show definition. Reverse seems to have some sort of scrapes on the outside of the top-most leaf, but that could be the picture. I like the apparent Machine Doubling on the base of AMER of "America."
