My inherited collection includes not one, but two, incomplete State Quarter Proof sets. Why I can't say but it just bugged me. So I found a source that had all the missing sets (2000, 2001, 2004, 2007) and bought what was needed to complete both sets.

Not sure how good of a financial purchase it was but now I can move on to other things.

No question, here. Just sharing.

Sometimes it's nice to just bring things to a closure. Now you are done with those sets.

Yup. I have 8 Morgan dollars, P and O, scattered dates. Would like to fill in the New Orleans dates. Local Antique malls have quite a selection. Some are owned by local coin dealer. Worried about fakes since I don't have equipment to measure weight and composition.

Mike
I am the same way, I hate seeing holes in the collection and I feel obliged to make sure that the collection is complete.
So, yes, it was a good purchase in my book.
