Got out for a bit before the rain came. Managed to find a 29 gram silver necklace, 1.5 gram silver earring, 1.5 gram silver ring and a 1.4 gram 10k gold ring. If the rain didn't start I would probably still be out there after finding this much jewelry. Makes you want to stay out there forever. Turned out to be a pretty good day.

That gave me a chuckle. On day I might be able to finish one of these puzzles.

Goodonya Mike nice finds ,I use to put a plastic bag over the controls and kept going(The coil was waterproof)but that didn't always work as the ground got to muddy to dig on the small stuff.

I have done that many times Harry. But I was working on my third set of gloves as the ground was saturated from the storms last night and I didn't have my raincoat. If I had my raincoat I probably would have toughed it out. I wasn't prepared for the rain.

This was a total of five schools. I spend about a hour at each school. Enough time to hit the main spots and some out of the way spots.
