I have had this 1939 P Nickel for several months and didn't pay too much attention to it. I got it out of a nickel roll from my bank. After a closer look I realized here is an 82-year-old nickel from circulation that looks Mint State. Obviously due to circulation wear it is not perfect, but a real survivor none the less! It does not have full steps nor any DDO, and there was over 120 million minted but a remarkable strike overall. Too bad it isn't a proof at 12,000 plus but it isn't! I took two sets of pics, one with overhead lights on and one without. Let me know your thoughts and as always regards.
Ok my bad, I had submitted this coin recently and forgot that I had! I apolgise for my gaff. Since my stroke the old brain does not work as well as it should! Regards.
